Chateau de Mairy is a beautiful 17th century 'Monument Historique' set in 30 acres of lovely grounds with its own private lake and chapel.

The chateau is available to hire in its entirety on a self catering basis. We can sleep up to 23 people in ten bedrooms with eight bathrooms, in the following configuration:

First Floor

  • Two interconnecting double bedrooms, sharing a bathroom with bath and shower, and separate WC
  • Large double bedroom with extra single bed, en-suite shower room.
  • Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
  • Double bedroom with extra single bed and en-suite bathroom.
  • Huge double bedroom (the bridal suite!!!) with extra single bed (in case of a row!!) and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower cubicle
  • Two further double bedrooms each with their own en-suite shower rooms
  • Interconnecting double and twin bedrooms, sharing bathroom with bath and shower, separate WC
  • We can add another single bed somewhere making it possible to sleep up to 24 adults, and we can also provide travel cots for babies.

Ground Floor, comprising the following:

Large Entrance Hall, housing the grand piano, the main salon with lots of comfy sofas, open fireplace, plenty of tables and chairs for card and board games, an ipod docking system and the billiard table, the dining room, which has seating for up to 24, and also has a lovely open fireplace, kitchen, which has a large breakfast table, three electric ovens, plenty of gas hobs, fridge, freezer, two dishwashers and all the gadgets you would expect.

There is also a downstairs WC and laundry room, plenty of outside tables and chairs, a gas BBQ and of course the marquee.

The Chateau can be rented from any day to any day, part weekly or even monthly. The prices are based on self catering parties of up to 23 guests. We do not take a deposit, but we do a walk through the chateau when you arrive, and another one at the end, if anything has been damaged or broken we can sort out if there is a charge to be made whilst you are still with us, we have found this to be much fairer all round.

If you wish to make a booking we take 50% of the total to confirm the reservation and the balance is then due one month before arrival.

During the Winter months we charge an extra 50 euros per day which goes towards the heating costs and logs, of which you have an unlimited supply.
